This is 28.

This new season marks the continuation the most deeply personal spiritual journey I have undergone in my life. It marks a Year of Growth, Radical Honesty, Consciousness, Restoration and Curiosity. It marks the continuation of a journey back to tenderness.

There’s a secret about Leo’s. They are the only zodiac that go through phases of an evolution to reach their most evolved and highest selves. These phases are the Cub, the Lion and the Sphinx.

The ruling planet of the Leo is the Sun.

The Cub Ruled by the Sun has the least awareness of the other celestial bodies that share the universe. They shine, focused on themselves and their own enjoyment. Often playful and not recognizing that fire and light are not really something to play with.

When there is an awareness of the others Cubs center themselves.

A Cub says: “Look how everyone orbits me, they depend on me, need me, I’m what brings light to their life, I’m the center of the whole universe! “

The Lion Ruled by the Sun is the most inconsistent and most anxious. They are sensitive to their awareness of the other celestial bodies orbiting them. They are curious to be closer to them however are fixed in their placement and cannot. They seek to find a balance between Self and Ego. Sometimes at a point of total preoccupation. They question if there is something wrong with themselves. They are aware their presence can be felt even a billion miles away.

The Lion says “Why are they always so far away? Is it me? Is my presence too much or too little? If I have the fire and the light what am I supposed to do with it? Why me? Am I special? Or am I part of a larger network? There’s more than me in the universe. ”

The Sphinx Ruled by the Sun has achieved personal enlightenment and their highest selves. They have found balance and resolution with the Self and Ego. They have full command and discipline of their inner fire and light and understand the responsibility. Fire can burn and scorch as much as it can be life sustaining. That it can be enjoyed but only responsibly.

 They have peace with the perceived darkness between them and the other celestial bodies. They are reliable mentors and leaders who help shine light for others to see their own journeys with clarity and confidence. They recognize their placement as part of a larger beautiful tapestry and humbly contribute to the network.

The Sphinx says “Yes, I am here and they are too. We are all independent of each other. But we all need one another and are in this together. I happen to be some where I can see all of them even when they cannot see each other. I’ll make sure to keep reminding all of us that we are so much more than what we see in ourselves. There’s so much more than ourselves in the universe. That’s exactly what makes you special.”

Twenty-Eight whole years on this glorious rock. That’s crazy! So far it has been magical, equally liberating and devastating. I am hella grumpy but I know light and love will continue to guide my feet. I have more than a billion miles to go! I am beyond grateful and Honored to have my turn. Happy Birthday!
