I had a dream that guest starred James Forten and other Black inventors and innovators. I inquired about their lives and if they ever found fulfillment, contentment, stillness.
Did the work ever feel complete?
As I spoke they all spoke with me in unison, repeating the same words with me in harmony.
“I know that it feels like it’s been taking a long time.”
There was a pause and then loudly and all at once as if to say it first. We all announced:
“It has!” simultaneously. They laughed with a warmth that embraces you.
I felt vindicated and affirmed. James placed his hand on my shoulder and guided me back toward the tesseract.
They gave me a message to bring back, a gentle reminder. “This is how it is. This is the journey. These are the good days, the best days. If you have the vision, keep going and Enjoy the journey time traveler!”
I thanked them each and woke up to this new day.
